Vincent Price
Today we look at a very special soul. He is most famously known for his role in The House on Haunted Hill. I am speaking of the great Vincent Price. Born Vincent Leonard Price II, he was an American actor that specialized in horror movies, and was well known for his distinctive voice. His voice was so well known that he even was the voice on the famous Michael Jackson hit, "Thriller".
He also did a voice over for Alice Cooper's first solo album "Welcome to my Nightmare".
Do you ever think of Mr. Price while while watching that old TV show, "The Thirteen Ghosts of Scooby-Doo"? Well, it's because he voiced the character Vincent Van Ghoul, a character which aided Scooby and his nephew Scrappy-Doo in capturing thirteen deadly demons.
Tim Burton was a good friend of Mr. Price's. In fact, Mr. Price voiced the narrator on the Tim Burton film "Vincent", a film inspired by Mr. Price himself. He also worked with Mr. Burton on his most notable last appearance "Edward Scissorhands", playing the inventor who created Edward.
And, of course, who could forget that Mr. Price was a gourmet chef and well known art collector. He often appeared on the late night talk show "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson", one time showing how to pouch a fish with a dishwasher.
In addition to this eccentric event, Mr. Price, as mentioned before, was a serious and passionate art collector. From 1962 to 1971, Sears, Roebuck sold approximately 50,000 pieces of fine art to the generalized public. These pieces included artists from Dali to Piccaso.
He was married three times and had two children: Vincent Barret Price and Mary Victoria Price.
He and his second wife donated hundreds of works of art along with a hefty sum of money to found the Vincent and Mary Price Gallery at East Los Angeles College in the early 1960's.
Unfortunately, Price was a life long smoker, which caused him to contract emphysema. He had also developed Parkinson's Disease, which sadly cut his role short in the Tim Burton film "Edward Scissorhands". He died of Lung Cancer, and he now resides in the afterlife with all of my fiendish friends.
For a complete list of Vincent Price's films, please visit the link provided.
So long for now kiddies. And remember, be safe, or you will pay the price. Happy haunting, and don't sleep too badly.

My Top Five Favorite Horror Flicks
Although I'm a devious doctor, I still enjoy frightening films to terrify me terribly. I just love a good scare, and horror slasher flicks are just the right treatment. Here are a few films that I personally enjoy, and they are just... to die for!
1. A Nightmare on Elm Street
What is so great about this film? Well, I'll tell you. It is very unique in story and setting. The movie's main antagonist is a man named Freddy. Freddy Krueger.
The 1984 film was the brain child of filmmaker Wes Craven. It was the first film for New Line Cinema, which is sometimes referred to as "The House That Freddy Built", for this reason. Mr. Craven has stated that the inspiration came from news articles about immigrants that were murdered in their sleep. And Mr. Krueger's weapon of choice is a garden glove pimped up with long blades, said to be inspired by Mr. Craven's cat. Nobody knows where Freddy's name came from exactly, but supposedly it was the name of a bully from his younger years.
2. Child's Play
Well, this film is scary good. Charles Robert Lee transferred his soul into a doll known as a "Good Guy", while on the brink of death. Many of you have probably seen this film, and now that little Andy, the boy who receives Chucky for his birthday, always blames mishaps on the devious doll. Truth is, the film was inspired by a true story. More on that later...
3. The Orphanage
While this is not necessarily a slasher film, it is up in the ranks because of the thrill and suspense that is intertwined into the movie. Directed and written by filmmaker Guillermo del Toro, the story involves a woman who returns to her childhood orphanage, only to be haunted by the ghost of a little boy. I won't give away much, because it's not the most common film to watch, but it is worth watching.
4. Halloween
Michael Myers. A huge behemoth capable of destroying anything in his way. What's so interesting about this murderer? He wears a spray painted Captain Kirk mask.
5. The Nightmare Before Christmas
I know, not necessarily the scariest movie in the universe, but it's terrifically tremendous. Most of you have probably seen this movie, so there's no need to explain much.
Happy haunting... and don't sleep too badly...

The Legend of Bloody Mary
Have you ever looked into your bathroom mirror and taken a close look at your face and sworn you could have seen a mysterious reflection? Well, chances are that you did see what you thought you saw. There's a little rumor that's been going around since the sixty's about a girl that will kill you if you summon her... through the mirror! Who is this girl, you ask? Why, she is none other than the Bloody Mary. And we aren't talking about the alcoholic beverage.
Weather you call her B- Mary, Mary Worth, Queen Mary I, she will still kill you when summoned from the mirror world. There's many stories about people's experiences with the ghost of Bloody Mary. Many people insist that this is an event they have experienced first hand. Most will explain how they chanted her name many times and when they were drenched in fear they turned on the light, only to find scars and scratches that were never there before. But others will go as far to say that their friend was decapitated after failing to open a door... that had a busted lock...
There are a plethora of descriptions regarding her appearance. Some say she is pale white with pale white hair, usually drenched in blood. While others will describe her as a brunette wielding a long, rusty knife. Some even say that her eyes are contrasted with her skin tone by them being plain white with a pure blood shot appearance. One person even describes her as wearing a cloak, her head way above her shoulders. And, of of course, she possesses a long, rusty blade.
Wondering how to summon her? Well, there are many different ways. Here are a few of the ways:
1) Turn the lights out and stand in front of a mirror (you will do this for every summoning). Chant the name Bloody Mary numerous times, and you will find that after so many chants there will be the reflection of a demonic girl.
2) Say her name three times while spinning around three times.
3) This is a more advanced way that may be a little hard. Same as before: mirror with lights off. For this you will need 6 candles. Light them. Take something red like lipstick and write the number 666 on the mirror. When everything is set, simply say her name six times.
You can look into this subject much more extensively by looking at this webpage.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this scary story about the murderous mirror murderer. Don't look at yourself too long in the mirror. Even though you may look beautiful, stare too long and Bloody Mary will mess up your face for good. So long for now, and don't sleep too badly.

Rogue's Gallery: The Headless Horseman
Today, we will take a look at one of my favorites in Halloween’s Rogue Gallery. I guarantee you will simply loose your head with this chilling character. The Headless Horseman, a character derived from a short story known as “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” by Washington Irving, has weaved his way into American folklore through many mediums. What has made him most famous is his presence in film and literature throughout the years. The legend goes the Horseman was a Hessian whose rank was unknown. He was also one of 51 Hessians who died in a battle for Chatterton Hill. And yes, you guessed it… his death was caused by his beheading: FROM A CANNONBALL. He was buried in a church graveyard and his spirit roams the night, beheading midnight travelers that happen to run into him. Although, this is not the only legend. Many cultures have different renditions of his purpose. North America has many renditions through out their states. Such as the state of Texas where an author known as Thomas Mayne Reid wrote a little story c. 1865. It tells of decapitated horsemen’s ghosts that roam the countryside in the dead of night. And the Irish have their own rendition of this heinous horseman known as The Dullahan. It is often described with similar features to the traditional Horseman, only these horsemen have magical powers. They carry their heads by their sides and can even breathe fire through their mouth. And their weapon of choice: a human spine used as a whip. But the Dullahans are more of a symbol of death, only stopping in an area where a death is about to occur. And when the person is due to die, they call out the specific name of the person and they die on the spot. However, the most famous tale that contributes to the existence of the horseman is in an 1819 tale known as, you guessed it, “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow“. It is set in Sleepy Hollow, New York in the 1790’s. However, Sleepy Hollow was the nickname of the Dutch settlement. Like stated before, the horseman was a Hessian soldier who was decapitated by a rogue cannonball. Now he roams the town of Sleepy Hollow with his severed head nestled snuggly by his side on his saddle. Besides this tale, he has appeared in numerous other tales, including a book that identifies the horseman as a “Heinrich Luneberg”. This tale even dares to explain his origins. He has also appeared in movies such as “Walt Disney’s The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad” and Tim Burton’s rendition of the tale, “Sleepy Hollow”, starring Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci. He also appears as a powerful boss in the MMORPG “Maplestory”, as well as the widely popular “World of Warcraft”, only showing up as a seasonal boss during Halloween festivities. Why, you can even spot him in the Netflix commercials, his persona representing the horror genre. Well, that’s all for now kiddies. Hope you enjoyed the haunted history of this vile villain. And remember, wear your helmet when needed, or you could end up like The Headless Horseman. Happy haunting, and don’t sleep too badly.

Domino's Pizza for Halloween???
Yes, quite so. According to their calculations, they plan to deliver a good size amount of 1 million pizzas. Sounds like people like to snack on food while tuning in to a classic segment of their favorite horror slasher flick. I guess they get a good slice either way... and speaking of slices: Domino's Pizza
is showing you how to disguise yourself as a delicious slice of their heavenly pizza. Remember though, don't take any open candy wrappers or any items that are out of a wrapper for your safety. Or you might get a poisonous pizza...
