The Legend of Bloody Mary

Have you ever looked into your bathroom mirror and taken a close look at your face and sworn you could have seen a mysterious reflection? Well, chances are that you did see what you thought you saw. There's a little rumor that's been going around since the sixty's about a girl that will kill you if you summon her... through the mirror! Who is this girl, you ask? Why, she is none other than the Bloody Mary. And we aren't talking about the alcoholic beverage.

Weather you call her B- Mary, Mary Worth, Queen Mary I, she will still kill you when summoned from the mirror world. There's many stories about people's experiences with the ghost of Bloody Mary. Many people insist that this is an event they have experienced first hand. Most will explain how they chanted her name many times and when they were drenched in fear they turned on the light, only to find scars and scratches that were never there before. But others will go as far to say that their friend was decapitated after failing to open a door... that had a busted lock...

There are a plethora of descriptions regarding her appearance. Some say she is pale white with pale white hair, usually drenched in blood. While others will describe her as a brunette wielding a long, rusty knife. Some even say that her eyes are contrasted with her skin tone by them being plain white with a pure blood shot appearance. One person even describes her as wearing a cloak, her head way above her shoulders. And, of of course, she possesses a long, rusty blade.

Wondering how to summon her? Well, there are many different ways. Here are a few of the ways:

1) Turn the lights out and stand in front of a mirror (you will do this for every summoning). Chant the name Bloody Mary numerous times, and you will find that after so many chants there will be the reflection of a demonic girl.

2) Say her name three times while spinning around three times.

3) This is a more advanced way that may be a little hard. Same as before: mirror with lights off. For this you will need 6 candles. Light them. Take something red like lipstick and write the number 666 on the mirror. When everything is set, simply say her name six times.
